Our vineyard, located mainly in the middle of a hillside, is made up of traditional or noble grape varieties which are planted, taking into account their nature and adaptation to the land.
The Vignobles Montagnac are made up of a wide range of soil types which stretch from the edges of the Thau sea-lake to the Hérault valley.
The entire vineyard benefits from a Mediterranean climate ideally suited to grape harvesting.
The Vignobles Montagnac have been respecting current environmental concerns by using integrated, controlled and qualitative farming since 2001 on their 2000 hectares of vineyards.
The Vignobles Montagnac always make its team of technicians, with vast experience of the land, available to winemakers.
The training of our agricultural technicians and oenologists with new farming trends and techniques allows us to give winemakers qualified advice where quality is our prime concern.
The quality and variety of land is demonstrated through the AOC Picpoul de Pinet (AOC 100% Piquepoul vine) and AOC Languedoc (blend of traditional grape varieties).
The Vignobles Montagnac are also home to the Coteaux de Bessilles - Protected Geographical Indication (red-rosé-white) - which are an exclusive speciality in the cellar’s history.
The wines from the different grape varieties represent wide-ranging tasting potential, from traditional grape varieties such as Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, red grape Cinsault or Grenache Blanc, Terret, Vermentino, white grape Marsanne; but also noble varieties like Cabernet-sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc.
